I'm currently working on an outdoor virtual tour where the client wants their buildings to be highlighted. In order to do this, I was planning to use a polygon hotspot set to only appear on mouseover that covers each of their buildings.
The problem I'm having is that the hotspot needs to cover the whole nadir of the image and has one section that extends above the horizon. As soon as I add the section of the hotspot above the horizon, Panotour Pro inverts the area selected by the hotspot with a line that lies along the horizon. I've attached an image so you can see what I'm talking about.
Does anyone know of a way around this so I can select the whole building without having to miss off the section of the spire that extends above the horizon?
Cheers.

Hello,
When your polygon area exceeds 180°, it will not be displayed correctly either in PTP or in the tour.
There is no simple solution to create such spot without editng the XML code of the spot.
You can divide your spot into some separate spots, and when hovering one of them, change the aspect of the other ones as if they were hovered too.

and also keep in mind that if user is zooming deep into the pano so the hotspot covers 100% of the FOV of the users screen... try it

Gerald - Could you explain how to do what you mention? I'm not quite sure what you mean by changing the "aspect" of the other hotspots.
Georg - A very good point! Thankfully for this pano I've limited zooming to the image resolution and that's enough to prevent the hotspot covering 100% of the viewing area.

If I remember correctly,
- I was told by Kolor a while back
- you could not accurately / reliably place a polygon on the nadir.
I had wanted the entire nadir image to be "clickable"
- clicking the polygon would take the viewer to my website.
