Re: Sphericam - 360 degree video camera

livestraming can be interesting.
but the specs.... I wonder

•Camera resolution: 1280x1024 video containing 4x synchronized 640x512 resolution videos
•Lens type: 4x fisheye lens with 170-degree field of view

the 4 lenses with 640x512 pixel have 1280x1024 final resolution? so if the 1280 pixel the horizontal value is... than the thing does have a nadir of 640 pixel but specs does say 1024...
next: 4 lenses with 170 degree field of view? if this is meant landscape.. than its a massive overlap. but the videos online have massive stiching errors on the image border with 50% missing of persons. and that on each boarder. if the 170 degree is meant in portrait mode than the nadir in demo videos is far more than missing 10".

so for livestreaming livepanos it may be an eyecatcher. for 600$ hmmm - for up to 2000,-$  looool

Re: Sphericam - 360 degree video camera

personally I don't like 360 video. I get unrest from the idea I might miss something behind me.
