currently you need 6 go pro cameras... 1800 euro.
you Need a Cage Holding the go pros like this one:

kolor is developing such one, costs estimated with the go pro 2 around 4000€ or more (if go pro 3 are used)
currently:
Adobe After effects to postprozess the Videos to Project them on a sphere
an stitching solution capable to stitch Videos (not available public by kolor)
an not so small sized Desktop pc ;-)
a lot of time...
within 2013:
kolor will release first Version of panotour pro 2.0, than kolor will release an plugin/addon for panotour2 named livepano (Price unknown until now?) this Software will eliminate the Need of Adobe after efects and can take the single Videos and place it inside the pano and finally will do the Rendering of Video.
