APG 3.01 - Mac. Has %a changed meaning in 3.0?

In v2, when you entered %a in the "Render" Preferences pane for the name of the file to be saved, it translated into the name of the folder which was great.  But in v3, the same %a now translates into the name of the first image in the folder.  This doesn't make much sense for the name of a panorama.

How can I set my prefs so that the default name of the pano image is the same as the folder name?  (I usually then set it up as " %a pano v1" to differentiate from the folder name.)

Thank you.

Re: APG 3.01 - Mac. Has %a changed meaning in 3.0?

Hello,

From the documentation the %a is translated into the name of the panorama, not the folder name. There is no change around this feature in v3.0. By the way, it is the %i that is expanded to the name of the first image of the panorama.

Does it answer your issur ot do I miss something ?

Regards,
Thomas
