There is nothing much wrong with the apg stitching, I just put the images in and it stitched very well.. Just a slight bit out but easy fixed.. I cannot find anything else wrong.., apart from the horrible jutting tripod which makes it harder to fix the nadir and it can cause issue if it goes into a detailed feature.. I was hoping that by adding the xml code via Papywizard, that it would fix this issue..
The PTGui example, I cannot find fault. Perfect..
There is no mistaking something is wrong..

Hey Andrew.. I did it.. I managed to create a dummy xml and use it for the Photomatix images.. I just had to change the focal to match the xml.. Well, as least it says it in there.. Not sure if it is actually using the xml code since sorry to say it made no difference at all with the stitching or the jutting tripod head. The stitching is just about perfect anyway.. At least now I know it works it will be good for my 35mm for featureless areas using Photomatix images.. There might be other ways of doing it, not sure since I am still learning this technique.. Very cleaver though.. This is getting into the true power of apg... It's not apg's fault my Mac has RAM issues..
V3 apg has the new Seitz HDR and LDR plugin.. I am very curious to see a nice HDR pano image produced using this plugin with apg V3... Does anyone know where I can view examples...

The new masking tool in apg V3, I would suggest is not designed for a fisheye lens since the image parts are too big to mask out and give priority over other images. Fine for normal lens, I can see it having great value..

Still with HDR and apg 3+... I am not into the real glarey HDR, but for the right situation and if not over doen, it can look nice.. However, I still have yet to achieve an expectable result with apg.. Even if I archived a result, how do I save my settings..
Very difficult.. With processing my HDR through Photomatix, am able to save my HDR settings and use it again and again with no problems.. I can even tinker with it to achieve a new look and save that too..
The new apg V3+ has the HDR VR Drive II plugin.. .... ..... .... but what do I do next.. ![]()

Editing the Nadir Patch from an image captured using the VR Drive II is a very quick process.. Its not much bigger than a NN4 patch..
I realise it can now be down using apg, but I did not capture a Nadir image so I have to use a patch. I have created a Macro with Photoshop so it only takes about 5 mins.. Nothing so amateurish as a cloning tool where the patch becomes blurred.. Even a HDR image can easily be fixed.. After exporting a cube face from ptp, its easy. Even though the pano is quite big, after making it into a HDR, ptp is just amazing.. it loaded the image and exported very quickly.. I just love ptp.. Just amazing how it can handle huge image sizes. Even V1.8 has to be the best Virtual Tour software in the world, there is nothing better...

Automatically blending between two stages - evening and night - 7-step bracketing done in APG V3, 35mm lens @f8:
http://360impressions.de/LTKuppelBlend/krpano.swf (can take a moment to load (no tiles) - and no deep zoom, because no multires possible with the automatic blending)
Part of THIS: http://360impressions.de/Lichtturm (deep zoomable, 35mm lens)

Hey..
This was an interesting effect that Klaus used in the Water Tower. If anyone needs to use the same effect in your projects, you can get the code for here..

Funny, as soon as I saw it, I thought of seasons changing so, there you go... its all about engaging the viewer..
This one has been done very well.. I remember seeing it a year or two ago..
