Is there any placeholder with which I can automatically set the output directory to the same directory, from where I got the input files? In the old version (2.x) I could set the output directory to %p but it doesn't seem to work anymore? If app would only remember the directory from my last session, but it is always reset to my desktop directory, the very last one, I would save my panoramas to ![]()

Hi hd,
I noticed the same thing, even on the beta of V3!
Might be a bug.

You can make a general folder in which you put all your source-files as themes in folders and place a "stitched" and a "rendered" folder in each of the theme-folders.
Like:
MKP_project > MKP_source_images > MKP_stitched > MKP_rendered
That´s what i do - very easy to trace any work-file i used.
best, Klaus
P.S.: at least on Macs we have "relative paths" to connect projects and images:

Documentation suggests that %i should do the job?:

Thanks, Klaus, but I'm using Windows. It doesn't understand paths like that.

Well - it would be nice, if that worked. But APP ignores the settings dialogue alltogether (at least the settings for outup directory). The default output directory is still "...\desktop"! ![]()
BTW – I'm using the 64bits Autopano Pro Ver. 3.0.1 (not 3.1 as stated above).

LOL - BUG ALERT.
win7 64bit apg 3.0.1
autopano main menu: edit -> settings -> render -> Output -> Folder.... here the "?" symbol at the end is existing suggesting the %i and the other placeholders
autopano edit pano window: render -> Output -> Folder... here NO "?" symbol is shown
so maybe the placeholder are only working on the global settings path...
