Moving hotspot on map.

I am using the map extra (Just an image, not the google/bing/open streetmap verion)

Its all working well, except, I cant for the life of me figure out how to MOVE the hotspot once its added.. I cant click and drag it as one would ecpect.. I did find that if I hold down the "command" (on a mac) key and drag, the marker looks to be movable.. but as soon as I release the mouse, the marker snaps back to the original location.. Driving me nuts! Only solution I have had so far is to delete and add a new one in.. makes it super frustrating trying to get these all placed corectly!

Am I missing somthing here?

Re: Moving hotspot on map.

on my win7 boxits working this way:

I add the map
I click on the map so the "Hotspot Editor: Map"
I add points with the "Add Point" button
than I create in connections of the points to other panos ... so far its like you're doing...

to move the points:
I click on map again, so that the Hotspot Editor: Map does appear again.
I click the "Add Point" button
(but I dont klick in empty parts of the map to add new points)
if I now click on existing points with left mouse button and hold the button than I can move them.

(ptp 1.7 using)

Re: Moving hotspot on map.

Thanks Georg.. That got it for me.. I was not clicking the "New hotspot" tool befor trying to move.. I litte counter intuitive since I am NOT trying to create a new hotspot.. just edit an existing one.. But knowing is half the battle!
