Hi,
Google as published an open format for panoramic photography
https://developers.google.com/panorama/
They have published info for a panorama namespace that contains properties for provide information regarding the creation and rendering of a panorama image. The metadata should be serialized and embedded inside the panorama image as described here:
https://developers.google.com/panorama/metadata/
This is mostly because of the Photo Sphere feature on Android 4.2 but it could also be used on other Google products like Maps. I think this could be important for panoramic photos and please consider this, the generation of Panorama XMP Metadata, on future developments of your products.
Regards,

Looks like a group on the Panorama Photographer's community in G+ have figured out how to scrape the XMP meta data from a photo sphere enabled photo, and paste it into another
https://plus.google.com/communities/104 … 4925775383
Plus Phil Harvey has coded some of it into the latest ExifTool

I'd love to see autopano able to write the appropriate meta data directly into the equirectangular export!
Version 3.0.1 ? ;-)

Hi,
Thanks for reporting that piece of information. It is already in the feature list of Autopano.
