Hotspot Line-thickness

Hello wink

I have been Using Panotour Pro several times now, and so far everyting was easily to undestand and to modify.

Currently, we are discussing the option of integrating URLs into our panos, so that a customer can click on a product and will be re-directed to the corresponding website of the manufacturer.

I am using the polygon-tool to draw an outline-hotspot of the products.
My question now is:

Is there any possibilty to modify the line-thickness of the polygon when a mouse-over happens? The lines ar getting really thick and small products are hard to see inside these thick lines.

I could not find any option to modify this paramater...Is this even possible?

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

I don't know about the thickness but if I assign a link to a polygon hotspot I usually make the lines transparent - just set the "alpha" parameter to zero when changiing color

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

Where do I pick a colour for the outlines? I only have a picker for the inner colour of the polygon, not for the outlines. If I set its alpha to zero, Only the inner colour becomes transparent, not the outlines (which is nothing unexpected).

I am using Panotour PRO v1.8.0... if that matters.

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

hmm. that is strange - I have two color fields (just above the Tooltip field) one for lines and the second for inner polygon

See screenshots.

There are two color pick options - 'Colour' defines the outline colour and transparency, and 'Fill' defines the fill colour and transparency.

There is no option ion the GUI to select outline line thickness.

If you have Panotour pro you could xepose and edit the XML files and add a new attribute to set the border width in normal view and when hovering over the hotspot.-  see:

http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#hotspot.borderwidth

It would be good to have that option available via the GUI.

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

This is strange, the colour-picker is completely missing in my version....Ok, anyway... the border-thickness is only editable by modifying the XMLs. This would not be much of a problem, if there would not be the need to make the panos also accessable for mobile devices, which means that I cannot use external modified XMLs, because they cannot be included when exporting a tour for mobile devices. Looks like the line-thickness needs to stay the same :-/

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

Like the other members stated you cannot make an adjustment to the thickness in PTP.  But you can make it not appear on hover.  See here:

I hope this helps.

Re: Hotspot Line-thickness

The idea of making the outlines invisible is not too bad, but as I mentioned earlier, I cannot do this, because the button is missing.
Due to the fact, that I need a mobile-device application, I cannot edit external XMLs in order to modify the line-colour.

Does anyone know why this button is missing or to who I can write a mail to recieve information on this issue?
