video hotspot doesnt display, only sound hearable

i couldnt find another post of this problem so i made a new one

im having the problem that when i make a hotspot connected to a mp4 video (object) ,  after the click i will hear the sound of the movie, but i wont see the video appear. It doesnt matter if i set the width or height or position, it wil only be sound that i hear and no video will be displayed.

does anyone know what im doing wrong and what i can do to fix this ?

How did you create the video file - it might be a CODEC issue?

How big (filesize) is the video file?

And the native dimensions/format - pixels size HxW?

type mpeg-4
size: small qsif 176x120 128kbits

so nothing special i think

the size of the file is 400kb so it isnt to large it seems

PTP/krpano just doesn't seem to 'like' your MP4 video.

I transcoded it to .MOV with H.264 CODEC and it works OK, either as a Link/Object with a point hotspot or a Display/Object witha rectangular hotspot.

Also transcodede to .MP$ using H.264 CODEC and it also works fine for me.

What software did you use to create the MP4 version?
