Wrong tripod head settings?

Hello,

I'm sometimes getting very strange&distorted shapes, when rotating the panorama. Is that the result of wrong tripod head settings? Or what could be the problem?

Here's the example (1st picture - straight front view, 2nd - rotation to the left, 3rd - rotation to the right). The roof looks very very unnatural.

Hi
You have here an enormous FOV (field of view)
which looks like more than 180 degree.
When flatten such a field, there are massive distortion.

When creating a virtual sphere, you can select the maximal visible  FOV.
For a natural look, use 120 degree.

In PTP use max. 90° as FOV. Better 70° - you need to move more but the ditortions are lower.

Here i use 90° initially but the FOV goes to 60° automatically and keeps 60°. 60/70° is a more natural look than 90 or even more:
