Hi,
I have bought PanoTour Pro to make virtual tour with Little Planet Animation and iPhone, iPad, Andriod and iBooks. From can I find step by step tutorial that will make Flash (Little Planet) for desktops and other version for iPhone, iPad, Andriod devices (HTML 5).
In PanoTour Pro, for Little Planet Animation, it is only Yaw and Pitch. Where is Roll? Can we create animation like this

Please guide.

I don't quite understand the part about the little planet animation but a tour like the one in amstredam can be created in PTP. Although their tags in a form of a red baloon don't look quite neat - covering the faces of other people. In PTP you may put a transparent polygon over the face of a person that would look much nicer than all these baloons. Tha polygon would also show the name of a person on "mouseover".
I broke my imagination trying to make a picture in my head about how a roll in little planet view would look. Can you give an example? I always thought that little planet is a projection of a flat image - it doesn't work like a real 3d model.
We may wait for Destiny - she may know the secret.
I would advise the guys from TEDx Amsterdam to use APG 2.0 that has an option to save a pano in a multi-layer PSD - that would probably help them find the camera-man legs, in case they know how to use Photoshop.
The sharpness and the toning of the pano is very good, but the whole place is full of red-head aliens....... well apart from a genie with a camera, hovering in mid-air - but he is probably from a different planet.

And can someone tell me why half of the guys sitting in the TEDx hall are named Andrew Rudy (even some women:) and why there are so many invisible people with a tag but without their body.

Dear Gund,
Please see the link below. This animation was created with KR Pano. What I mean that when we see the animation from little planet it rotates 360 degree and slowly slowly goes to the ground level while rotating and convert into normal panorama.

Another example which PanoTour Pro created. It does not rotate the image. You simple move to the ground level straight.

Feel the difference and let me know how we can create the effect which Mael Bath has created.

Ok - now I understand
The task is to set little planet view by default and enable autorotation. I know how to do the second - I'm not sure hot to make the first but I'll try

The second example was created with the default settings in PanoTour Pro. The above two examples (Tedx and fleur.html) have 360 degree rotation which is not in PanoTour Pro settings. I read some where that (TedX) was created in PanoTour Pro. Might be it requires custom coding in XML file.
Anyone knows how to do it, please share.

OK here is your "step by step"
1) create a tour with your panorama. In project properties a) do not embed xml files b) enable autorotation and little planet intro c) change the duration of little planet intro to 20 (or other desired value). In panorama properties set autorotation speed to 3 delay to 0 (choose the desired direction left or right). Build a tour
2) open your .xml file (If you have only one panorama and your project is called "test" than you would have test.xml and test0.xml)
In test0.xml (or whatever you called your project) find the line
tween(view.hlookat,0, 20, easeInOutQuad);
Change it to
tween(view.hlookat,360, 20, easeInOutQuad);
(360 here is the degree your little planet rotates from the initial view to final. Number "20" is the duration of little planet to normal view transition)
That is it!

Here is the answer to the second question
If you want to make two additional buttons in the menu - one for going little planet and other returns to normal view you do the following
Use the tour built in the same way I described above (don't forget to allow projection entities in "Project properties"). Choose 2D theme and Navigation+Fullscreen+Sound+Rotation
1) go to your test.xml and find the following line
<plugin name="autorotationOFF" align="bottom" blendmode="normal" crop="0|0|65|65" customColor="true" height="prop" keep="true" onclick="action(actionviewnormal); set(view.fov,90);" onovercrop="0|65|65|65" url="testdata/graphics/menu/menu12.png" visible="" width="40" x="180" y="10"/>
Put two more lines after it
<plugin name="little planet" align="bottom" crop="0|0|65|65" height="prop" keep="true" onclick="action(actionviewlittleplanet);" onout="" onover="" onovercrop="0|65|65|65" url="testdata/graphics/menu/menu6.png" width="40" x="220" y="10"/>
<plugin name="normal view" align="bottom" crop="0|0|65|65" height="prop" keep="true" onclick="action(tweennormalview) ;" onout="" onover="" onovercrop="0|65|65|65" url="testdata/graphics/menu/menu6.png" width="40" x="260" y="10"/>
now you have two more buttons that look exactly like a home button The first one for little planet while the second one for normal view.
url="testdata/graphics/menu/menu6.png" is the picture of the button. Draw your own buttons (keep the dimensions right - use home button as a pattern) and name them menu7.png and menu8.png. Put these files in the testdata/graphics/menu/ and change the urls of your new buttons to the ones you've drawn .
