branding free license?

I am new in using PTP and see in the project properties under "Extra" contextual menu with the option of creating the tours unbranded...In the documentation I've read I must select here the "Krpano branding free license" but where do I get it from? ( I don't use krpano, just PTP 1.8)...Could somebody help me with this? Any answer will be highly appreciated...

Re: branding free license?

Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but are there any terms for this licence?

Unlimited use across any site?

What would stop someone from purchasing this licence and then offering an un-branding service?

yes.
and nothing. just do it ;-).

the software can be bought from professionals. so they can use it for their customers projects. if you have one project a decade or 10 per month, its up to you...

but also think about following idea: the customers wanna have the state of the art tools get used. So why do you want to remove this quality seal  by making your tour braning free?

Re: branding free license?

Hi Georg -

Thanks for the reply.

Personally I wouldn't agree with you on customers caring about what tools get used. And it most definitely is not a quality seal, because it makes no statement whatsoever about the quality of what is produced.

It's always seemed odd to me that after forking out a considerable amount of money for the software, we're then expected to pay the same again, just to stop providing free advertising for the tool.

Regards,

Gerald.

Re: branding free license?

Did any customer ever asked anyone about it......?    That is the answer I think one is looking for.

Re: branding free license?

There's little information about the branding free license...Does anybody know how it works or should the customer service be contaced? And more imported I have already created tour with PTP 1.8, if I want to have them unbranded do I have to create them again or just overwrite the existing project files?
Best regards
