Hi, can someone explain the EXACT step-by-step sequence for setting the radar orientation. I have a map, a hotspot and a radar that show on the Map Hotspot Editor Page. However, everything done to set the orientation does not seem to work. The response of the program to clicks in this window seem random, sometimes exiting to another tab for no apparent reason. Whenever the tour is rendered, the radar always goes back to an orientation that was not set. Unfortunately, there is no clear explanation of this anywhere, so any information is appreciated.

Hi...
1.. Add your pano...
2.. Add your map..
3.. Click on the map and add a point..
4.. Link your map to the pano by dragging the point to the pano..
5.. Click on the map point and then click on the compass icon which will make the radar turn green, edit mode..
6.. Rotate your radar IAW your 3D view. Rotate the 3D as required...
7.. Click on the compass icon again to set the direction of the radar..
Done... ![]()

Thanks for getting back to me-it looks like the source of the problem is that I do not have any kind of 3D view that shows up, and there's no menu item for making one show. Please see attached ti illustrate-there is no 3d view there. Also, I'm not sure what " radar IAW your 3D view" means. -Thanks!

Also, if I click on the compass icon and then click on the radar, the program immediately jumps to the Hotspot Properties tab and it does not allow me to click on the compass icon a second time.

Hi..
You do have the 3D Editor, but yours in on a tab of its own.. Just drug it up to the other panel, I should sit just next to it.. You should also be able to edit the size of the viewing windows.. Also, "IAW your 3D view", means.... "In accordance with your 3D view", meaning rotate your green radar using your 3D viewer as a reference to move the scene to the desired view point..

I finally got the same work window as your demonstration to show up, and the radar setting is working now. However, the process does seem a little quirky and counter-intuitive. In any case, though, it's working now. -Thanks!
