Re: How do you upload the tours to a site

Hi..

You need to FTP your content.. 'File Transfer Protocol'... You will need the address and password etc for this.. Your internet provider will assist with this... I use Transmit but there are heaps of them, some are even free.. Some ftp apps come with your software too, or your web host mob might have software within its site for you to use.. Its just like dragging files to a new folder, but in the case of an ftp, your files are going to an off-line folder.. Its then a simple matter of creating the address for the URL, 'User Resource Locator'.. Your internet provider will provide the prefix to your address, its then up to you to create the suffix part of the address.. ie... /mypanostuff/mytour/html

Hi.. Its seems you did not create your html file.. You are best off create it for mobile for full screen... You then direct your address to:

http://partyaccessaxa.net/map/build/22virtualtour.html

Re: How do you upload the tours to a site

Oh!! You cannot view your tour off-line using a trial version.. You can only view it locally... You need to buy it...

Destiny...

..."on-line" should be correct ;-)
and about ftp... its correct. you need a ftp program tzo upload the created tour. BUT panotour pro 1.8 does have such an ftp client built in too. so you can do it with panotour pro...:
Buidl tour as ... -> FTP -> Export generated local files on FTP remote directory...

and as Destiny did mention, viewing locally in demo mode is working, an uploaded tour (in demo mode) cannot be viewed...

PS: and mobile device export is also not possible in demo mode:
http://www.kolor.com/download-autopano- … tware.html (see down to "What are the limitations of the demo versions")

Re: How do you upload the tours to a site

If you are using ftp software outside of PanoTour Pro must you send all files and folders under the build directory?

thanks
Mike

Re: How do you upload the tours to a site

Yes Mike... Its best to keep the content files that make up your tour in one directory.. except for the kpt files or any other build files, but you can put some media files outside of your main build directory as long as you provide an address where to find it... The downside to that would be, if that host server is down... Media like YouTube can be remote of course as well as other video files..

I do not use the ptp ftp method, I prefer to use my own ftp app... I just create a folder and name it and then upload the entire content files into it and leave it to batch process..
