Before running a whole project of multiple panoramas I always check the settings in the menu. I then load the photos into groups. I found that some settings where not copied from the menu-settings to the group settings. Especially at optimalisation->optimizer stages not everything is copied. F.E. "Strong algorithm" is not copied, and so are final optimalisation and multiple viewpoint.
Please check the copying of settings to groups from the menu.

When saving the workspace, I loose also these settings plus detection->links->one stack ....

This bug is still partly there in Beta 2. Some of the optimiser settings are not copied from the settings to the groups created by the Browse folder function. Highly frustrating when working high number of panoramas.

and the settings are unable to remember 8,7 mm for the default value for the lens, it cuts it down to 8,0 all the time, grrrrrr

Hello,
When creating a group from fisheye pictures, the settings are set to the 'Fisheye' preset, and therefore several editor parameters are not transfered to group. Here is a short discussion on that topic : http://www.kolor.com/forum/t16104-custo … action=new
Concerning the focal truncated to 8,0 instead of your real value 8,7mm, it seems to be a bug.

Hello Thomas,
Seems like different situation, as seperate images are added to a existing group.
I am loading in large number of fish-eye pictures using the CTRL+B/browse folder option, that I want detected with MY settings, not the general fisheye settings. if I had wanted those I would have chosen them in the general settings. So please copy the settings to every group that is created and NOT make decisions for me when I clearly have chosen different settings.

The settings are not changed if images are dropped in an existing group, but they are when detecting new panorama.
We will see how we can improve this behavior.

Thomas
