Non Linear Auto Rotation..

Hi.. After playing with particles on this thread: http://www.kolor.com/forum/p106386-toda … 57#p106386
and seeing how it auto rotates, panning up/down, I had a thought that if the Auto Rotation could be set to Vary to set points, something similar to a Path when animating in 3D..

Perhaps a Linear line passing through the centre of the pano, where a node could be used to drag the path to the centre of relevant/interesting features of the Virtual Tour, creating a Path to follow, so rather than the pano rotating in a Linear motion, it pans up and down, auto centre to the important features of the pano..

Re: Non Linear Auto Rotation..

Hi.. Just to add a thought to this thread...

For those who do not mind playing with code... wink

You can add your own GOTO buttons, add-ons to the other menu buttons using your own graphics..

For example.. Using the Home menu button code, you can add as many GOTO buttons as you like...

<plugin name="home" align="bottom" crop="0|0|65|65" height="prop" keep="true" onclick="lookto(get(panoview.h),get(panoview.v),get(panoview.fov),smooth(100,20,50));" onout="" onover="" onovercrop="0|65|65|65" url="menu/menu6.png" width="40" x="120" y="10"/>

        <!-- This is the code for your GOTO HOME -->
    <panoview h="-45" v="-45" fov="90"/>

The next button you will have to change the X value of your button to perhaps "160" and then change the h, v and fov GOTO HOME code values for the next feature of interest in your pano..

There is a bit of work in doing this but its very doable and for those who have a need for it, it could have great value... To assist in calculating your values, you might like to use a grid like this, its from the krpano graphics set..
