The GPS data records latitude and longitude but does not include the N, S, E, and W information from the source files. I noticed this when my panorama from downtown Detroit, Michigan landed me in the mountains north of the Taklimakan Desert in China in Google Earth.

Could you please tell me what is the output format of your panorama (tiff, jpg,...) ?

Output format for the pano was 16 bit tiff, just tried outputting as a jpg and it is correctly geotagged.
