direction of mouse dragging?

Hello,
there is a current newsgroup discussion *1) i started, and it turned into a discussion of "what is the natural direction of mouse dragging".

One half of the participants likes it, when you click into a panotour, drag the mouse, and the picture moves into the opposite direction. Just as it is in panotour.

The other half likes it when you click into the panorama, drag the mouse, and the picture moves the same direction as the mouse. They call it more natural.

So my question ... is there any chance to integrate a check button on my website to flip moving directions for mouse dragging? ONLY mouse dragging, not the moving by the arrows in the control bar.

Thank you!

greetings from germany
Chris

panotour does it not this way. Panotour creates tours: click with mouse in tour and move mouse to left and the viewer turns the line of sight to the left. Personal I do prefer this method.

a GUI implementation would be great, because this is an evercoming topic 50::50 sometimes a love&hate debate ;-)
you can do it with xml & krpano code simple, just add a button and with onklick event you can set the control.mousetype accordingly...

Re: direction of mouse dragging?

Hello,

With Panotour Pro 2.0 you will be able to choose which behaviour you want for your tour, and you will be able to add a button that will allow to change this behaviour while the tour is displayed.

Such button already existsin the Panotour Pro template used in the following tutorial :
