Hi,
when I open a folder with TIFF-files and APG imports and groups the files together, about 4% of the files are not correctly imported. This means, not the picture itself is shown in the group, but only a stripe pattern. This happens absolutely sporadically and I cannot see any reason for this.
I had exactely the same problem about 1...2 years ago with an APP, which version I cannot remember. At that time, this was marked as a bug and explicitely eliminated in the following release.
Best regards
Robert

Hi Robert.
I would be really interested into getting the P1060234_DxO.tif.
Can you upload it on our ftp ?

Hi Alexandrej,
are there any news about this TIFF-problem? I've uploaded the file immediately.
Will it be considered in the next release?
Best regards
Robert

Hi together,
at the moment I have about 150 panoramas to stitch and the problem with the TIFF's is still present. About every third panorama is affected and that makes it nearly impossible for me to proceed in a reasonably time-saving way with my usual workflow
. I also tried the new version 3 and it's the same therewith.
Btw:
- I wonder why not many more users are complaining about this. Am I the only one working with 16bit-TIFF's ? (dxo Optics Pro v6 in April and now v 7)
- How can I check the Issue status by the issue number?
And last but not least: Autopano/Gigapano is a really great software - thanks a lot for this!
Very best regards
Robert

Robert,
I am almost always using 16 bit tiff, and never got this problem with APG.
However, I got it once with another software (Qimage), and solved it by reading and saving the image again with Photoshop.
According to the author of Qimage, the problem was due to a specific internal structure of the tiff file, what I cannot understand since I am always using the same softwares and got the problem only once .......

I only use TIFF-16 and it's the first time that I see something like that, the difference is that only use PS to convert from CR2 to TIFF
