This bug was present in APG 2.6 and is still with us.
I’m stitching some seascapes with non-matching lines of surf. I put a few extra images on a separate layer named ‘surf’ to use in case they’re useful to patch the surf.
Output to PSB, spherical, layers and pictures, embedded. ‘Panorama’ is unchecked.
Expected result: PSB filename will be project name.
Unexpected result: Filename is given name of first layer, N_0.psb, not the project name
Expected result: Layer N_0, which is full of images, will be full size, i.e. spherical.
Unexpected result: Panorama is severely cropped
The reason I uncheck ‘panorama’ during rendering is that I know it won’t be used and will only add to rendering time.
Suggestion for a workaround: If it is impossible to produce a PSB file, layers and pictures embedded, without the ‘panorama’ layer, then that option should be grayed and non-selectable in the rendering options.

In our case, if we change the "canevas size" we can get all pictures well positioned.

How do you change the ‘canvas size’?
On a new pano with two full layers, stacked, under ‘Crop’ I clicked the ‘Spherical’ button.
Then I rendered to PSD/layers/pictures/embedded (panorama unchecked).
Same problem. PSD is severely cropped.

Hello Judy,
renan was talking about canvas size in photoshop, not in Autopano.
