APG [3.0B1] Masking tools - tooltips

A simple request:

It would be helpful to have the tooltips for the new Masking tools. I am not exactly sure what the difference is between left and right red and green icons. I understand that red is mask out, green - keep, but what is the difference withing red and green icons? I assume that left is small spot and right is wider area, but would appreciate a confirmation.

Thanks!

Hello,

About the masking icons, the ticker icon (on the right) apply a keep/remove constraint on the whole stack in case you use bracketing.
Hope it helps.

Regards,
Thomas

wouldnt it be more useful if you could apply the masks inside one stack on indivudual stack images. so lets say you've 3 images per stack and the ghost is available in middle image, so you can place on middle image the red mask and on the other images of this stack the green mask?

Re: APG [3.0B1] Masking tools - tooltips

When you are using stacked pictures you often use a blend preset like  "hdr" or "exposure fusion".
With this mode, antighost (and masking markers) is applied on same EV only. You can't apply a binary choice between stacked pictures and fuse them.

So if you put a title red maker (the left one) on the middle picture, the ghost will be removed on this middle EV only (if overlapping with other pictures of this EV if sufficient) and you must obtain what you need.
