Please have a look: on the map go to the point "Leoni"
http://www.tourvirtuale.bioparco.it/
There I got some grey squares but I don't understand why... everything works ok on the offline version!
Attached a screencapture of the problem.
Are you experiencing the same problem? If so, any guess?
Thanks in advance.

I thought the same thing and uploaded them again but still doesn't work.
Might be a "Permissions" related issue?
I have noticed that Folders have 644 Permission, while files have 755 permission.
What's the difference? Should I change something?
Also, I don't know if this is important but I used Filezilla to transfer the files.
Thanks.

664 means: ower and group does have read and write permissions, world eyeryone does only have read permissions
755 means: owner does have read write and execute, group and everyone else read and execute permissions. (execute means here you can change to this diectory to read content etc.
so to make it equivalent to 664 it would be the 775 read/write/execute for owner and group, all others only read and execute...
but this all does not explain why most parts of the images are shown and two? not?
AND ;-) if I reload your tour again, the errors are gone... so maybe the reupload solved it and you still have the old content in cache?

The problem only happend zooming all the way out... by the way, I just uploaded the images for the third time and now it seems to work.
Georg, thanks for the explanation and... so "execute" means that "others" can only read the content of the folder, but isn't "read" and "write" enough?
Also I recently moved my web domain (marcolanciani.com) from windows to linux server (in fact it's still under construction):
- why linux hosting requires 755 permissions to work?
- I mean, Is it safe to let "others" execute folders and files?
Thanks again.

the execute flag for directories does mean that you can change into the directory. if you delete this execute flag for the directory, than you cant read nore delete the file even if the file itself does have the read and write flag.
execute permissions on image files are useless. only if binary files - as with the ".exe" on windows - are involed than execute flag on files does make sense.
there are many sites you can find via google... I just picked up the first one:
