It appears that on my Mac, I cannot copy and paste a name when I try to save the .pano file. I think as general functionality of the Mac OS, I'm suppose to be able to do this but APG doesn't allow it.

In which zone (windows or dialog box ) do you need this copy/paste to happen ?

Yes, you need to explaine the location where you need to copy & past file names than i would suggest you the best idea.
