Hi all,
i have a 360-degree pano ( the one i send you).
At the "left side" there are tiles, that overlap a little bit so that a small part of the tile will appear at the "right side" of the pano. In such a case this overlapping small part of the tile at the right edge can not be masked. When i move the curser at the right edge, i only can activate the nextmost tile, but not the small ovelapping part.
Is there any way to activate the tile by "tile number" for masking?.

no optimum solution... you can change the vanishing point to place the boarder on a different place (and place it back when ghost masking is done...)
to chiece the same you also can change in image move mode->move pano and with holding shift + drag pano with left mouseklick you can move the pano on x axis (without modifiing the horizon ;-)

Hmmm, i understand. In germany we call such a solution "Eselsbrücke" (crib? pony?).
But many thanks for the hint, next week i will do some more refinement and i will try it.
Maybe this will give a good feature request for apg 3a3 ![]()

It's not a donkey bridge, it's a workaround - and it works!
With complex software like APG, you must figure out how to play with it
and sometimes find a workaround to optimize your work ![]()

Hi Lumelix,
if we were talking about low-budget software, freeware, shareware, or something like this, i would have agreed to you. But one of the leading stitchers with the best render-engine i have seen, nope, no cheering.
I would say, that regarding the ui of apg, many of the forum readers have the same opinion. Concerning workflow and useability, kolor has to do some homework...

Hi Chris
I don't agree. APG is not really expensive e.g when you compares it with the products of Adobe , for example Photoshop CS6.
And APG is not even a mass software with millions of licenses like that Adobe stuff, where you must apply a trick very often.
In PS for example, selecting a layer is not solved very convenient.
You don't see what you are selecting and when undo the command, the selection is undoing too!
I work professionally with special GIS-software (ESRI) that cost many 10,000 Euros (per license).
And here you have also to know what you are doing and have less or more often find a workaround if your direct route does not work.
This is normal for complex software! So don't worry - play with it ![]()

When adding the masking points for removing ghosts you can use the up and down arrow keys to change the active layer.
just hover the cursor where you want the point then use the arrows to cycle through the layers, then click when the correct layer becomes active.

Each image has borders. An equirectangular image´s borders later are "melted" together in the viewer.
There´s no way around that objects near the borders of an equi are hard to retouch without getting visible seams in the pano.
If you must retouch near the borders: either move the center-point so that the issues are away from the border
or generate cube-faces from the equi hoping your issues appear somewhere off the cubeface´s borders.
You can see rising problems in the editor of the stitcher - when you see objects cut on the right border and have it´s other part appearing on the left border: move the center-point in a way the object appears un-cut away from the borders.
best, Klaus
