I awoke this morning to discover a very very low cloud level and honestly thought the weather would prevent me from getting anything useful at all. This image proves that theres always a chance, if your just willing, or mad!!
This pano was captured from my visit to Dromquinna Manor, Kenmare, Co. Kerry. I had been to the Boat House restaurant the previous evening and while on my way out I noticed that the security barrier at the entrance had a padlock on it.
I had expected the location to be all locked up when I arrived, but thankfully it wasn't and I got this one!!
I took 10 pano's that morning. Some were just not good enough. My workflow is to import into Lightroom applying Camera and Lens Calibration, then export out to TIFF files. I create my .pano file with the TIFFs then when its finished I delete the individaul TIFF files. So looking back over my .pano files I can see that the panos taken had anything between 5 and 32 images. I shoot with a 5D MkII, so these are big enough files.
when you do the lightroom treatment, do not do lens distortion as the pano program are already or in most cases taking this into account when reading the EXIF info. You may find that you get better stitches without doing Lens distortion, but do, do CA adjustments
Great images you have captured I truly envy you ;-)
