Re: Full Museum Tour (exhibition 125 years of Belgian Coasttram)

hm.

honestly - I dont like it.
stitching errors en masse - so it looks like it was created with kolor eyes or even worse equipment.
even the lowres needs such a long time to load that I suspect the tour was embedded.
no overview is possible like navigation with hotspots or if this feature does not fit to the concept than something like a map is missing. just a pulldown menu is not inviting users to stay longer.

You must be kidding!? Loads extremely slow and THIS mass of stitch-errors are definitely unacceptable, to be honest - sorry.

How big are the equirectangular images in pixels? How big is the tour as data? Guess they´re around 300MPx?

The load-time seems to implicate you embedded all data - that´s a very bad idea: it slows down the load-time extremely.

See here: www.360impressions.de/KBogen3 - 9 scenes of 700MPx each and one has 4GPx (the start-scene). The tour is 1,4GB on the server - watch the loead-time.

BTW, Klaus, if he resorted to the non embedded solution he could also save him the trouble of having 4 different tours....all can be combined in one .xml since the depth of zoom will be decoupled from the loadspeed and small cubefaces can be presented for iPhone/iPad only and seperated using the appropriate .xml tags.

Right!
