This afternoon I took a 180 degree pano of No. 1 Palm Avenue on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. This building is of a semi-circular design with the farthest edges of the building closest to the camera and the center furthest away. It also has a curved roof. I shot six images with roughly a 20% overlap using a levelled pano head - but APG wants to flatten the imahe loosing the curved effect. I have tried all the avilable projections and the results are not looking good or realistic.
I used my Nikon D800 with the 24-70 f2.8 set at a focal length of 24mm, manual exposure and manual focus. Stitching the two center images gives the result I want. So tried stitching in groups of two with the goal of then bring the three combined images back into APG for the final render - oops that did not work either.
Here is a link to the buidling taken from a far off vantage point http://www.sfgemshow.org/
I took my pano much closer in front of the building in the parking lot
Anyone have any idea on how I can render with out the building being flattened and maintain the building geometry?
Thanks
Mike

This is the building used in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a representation of the Berlin Tempelhof Airport, by the way.
