Hi all,
when i create a new group, and import / load the pictures, there is a option that can force the single tiles to their corresponding grid place. Required prerequisite is a panogear plugin and something like a xml-file with grid positions.
Is there any documentation how this xml file must be formatted?
Can a "hand-crafted" xml file be used without owning a panogear and plugin?

about xml file format see:
http://www.papywizard.org/wiki/DevelopG … putXMLfile
(the link her is no longer up to date, it should be:
http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/ … _data_file )
you can download papywizzard and run it in simulation mode, so you can create some dummy xml files for different cases (without using a merlin/panogear) ...
... so you can take you panos with a manual head according to these shooting pattern set in papywizzard
... and you can than use the xml files with the import papywizzard plugin in autopano
