Hi all,
a small bug in APG 3 Alpha 1 (win 64 version), i hope it be solved in 3 final.
when there are much too bad control points for one or more tiles, i can either "autorecognize" new and better points, or if this will not work, i can add control points by hand. All works perfect, the bad arranged tiles snap to their position.
Now the pano window tells me that connection points have changed and that the pano must be optimized.
So i click to the optimize button ... and all hand edited control points are gone and the tiles hang awry and crooked and bad positioned as before. Hours of work is lost.

Hi all,
i got some news ... it is not bug of apg 3a1, but a "bug" in your tutorial.
I did another try, but with some different settings. In the optimizer setings i have switched from "keep control points below XX" or "remove above YY" to "keep 50 / 100 / ZZ best control points".
And now the manual added control points stay alive after optimizing the pano.
You should urgently redo your documentation and tutorial to consider such pitfalls and give some hints how to get around them.
In the current draft your tutorial is no tutorial. It is only a second, animated reference manual.
greetings from germany
