Could you please describe in detail how yo do it? Maybe 800mm exceeds the precision of the Merlin.
On the Merlin i never used lenses more than 400mm.

Ok - Josef will be back from vacation this weekend. Afaik it´s the Merlin´s lack on mechanical precision above 400mm - that´s understandable at the price: it can´t position such small angles precisely enough.
But i´ll ask Josef nevertheless to post an answer here.

depending on the sensor size I can go up to following falues....

PS: lol - If I choose fisheye I can go up to 9999mm focal length ;-))
