I'm crating more of a gallery than a tour. Putting a bunch of locations on the map. Some will interlink, others will not. Right now it's just 20 panoramics, no linking or hot spots. Using the thumbnails to navigate. Clicking on a thumbnail generates that message. Plus file names are displayed instead of the descriptive text I entered.
Any ideas?

That error message can be associated with the use of some types of Map hotspot transitions.
Avoid any of the transitions whose description starts with the word 'Zoom'.
Is that the cause in your case?

The message "unknown action closepanoobjects" is only a warning.
You see this message because an error came after this warning.
You do not have to care about the warning. Future versions of PanotourPro will generate less warnings than the 1.8 .
What is the error message exactly ?
Are the "error" displayed files in your tour ? Did you move thme ? Did you upload them ? etc...
