Softwae[PTP] logo shown

Dear Forum member,

    I am deciding to buy PTP and do not want my user to know the virtual tour file is made from PTP or other related clue.

    Not sure if users find information into subfolder, will they know something ?  I test with demo version and detect logo image of [krpano], please find

attachment-1.  If it is sure, user know the source of application [PTP], how to solve it ?  I was advised to buy more [Branding license free] that cost 299 €,

please find attachment-2.  Let me show my opinion, if we buy PTP license, we should have the right not to reveal the source of application to customer

without buying other branding license free more.

    I am new for PTP, sorry if I don't understand Kolor work concept but I need forum member to help me please before buying PTP.

Kind regards,
Jo

The Branding-free license removes the Panotour Pro and krpano links from the Context menu.

Are those links what you are wanting to remove?

Hi mediavets,
     Refer to your questoins  [Are those links what you are wanting to remove?]
     I plan not to use html but it is simply way to save virtualtour flash file and generated folder [virtualtour data] from PTP to user machine
     ,please see attached images. When we go to [virtualtour data]---->[map], there is flash file of  "krpano 1.0.8.14 radar plugin..." logo.
     that is I want to hide or using anyway not to reveal to user, is it possible ?

Thank you

The Context menu I showed in my screenshot has nothing to do with HTML - it will be displayed when a user viewing the SWF right-clicks- see screenshot below.

but it is simply way to save virtualtour flash file and generated folder [virtualtour data] from PTP to user machine

I don't think so.

Why are you so obsessed with hiding the fact that the tour is created with PTP and utilises the krpano Panorama Viewer anyway?

Re: Softwae[PTP] logo shown

I really dont understand that branding free license - better I dont understand why its requested by user.
Every user visiting your homepage is using any of the available webbrowsers. Did you go to Microsoft, Google & Co. and did ask for such a feature or license? No every user can have a look to its contect menu or to the info menu and review the programm and/or programmversion.
That is standard behavior. nobody is bothered by the fact.
And really every user and even more your customers will not assume that you did program/code the flashplayer as noone will think you did code the webbrowser because they're visiting your website...
Even more I would state that not showing these entries could cause your customers/users to think they use a non standard, non state of the art software coming from...

and everyone who whants to figure out which program was used can do it by reviewing the sourcecode, by opening the xml files... hey the main xml statement is
<krpano>
</krpano>

Georg

no. thats not possible. the radar.swf and the radar.js are opensource software from krpano. so you can edit the code, add code, use it in your projects for free but:

"All such licenses usually have additional restrictions such as a requirement to preserve the name of the authors and a copyright statement within the code."

source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-source_license

if you dont use the map feature (project properties->Map) in panotour and in special dont activate the radar subfunction than this radar.swf will not be created by panotour...

Georg
