... is this normal? Should I click something, after opening the panorama editor, to view the image?
I can't go on trying the Alpha without an image: need help!

It seems that some GPU doesn't like our new editor code.
Can you give us details about your GPU ?
BTW : try the check button in general setting to check for GPU support and report the result found there here.
Note : you can switch to CPU mode to use v3.

Are you using the latest driver?

Seems to be related to this : http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/ … er_Windows
See first paragraph.
Mobile graphic card are often out of sync in drivers. You need to go manual to update the driver.

This is a MacBook Pro. Firmwares and drivers are automatically downloaded and installed when they're available, if needed. So, yes, I guess I'm using the latest version...

Which one of the two graphic cards do you use? (given you have two of them built in)
best, Klaus

I have a built in graphic card... but only one:
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
I didn't tell I have more than one: if you refer to "... Firmwares and drivers..." I was just speaking in general.

This is a MacBook Pro "early 2008" - 17" 1920x1200, Core2Duo 2.5Ghz, 4GB Ram 667Mhz, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512GB
By the way, it must be something related with the GPU because disabling it, it works.

We are working on this case ( issue 1396 ). We found some reasons on our side too. Trying to overcome drivers issue.

I see. I have a MacBook Pro 17" from 2009 - it has two graphic cards built in: GeForce 9400M and 9600M GT.
Because you didn´t mention the model i asked about the cards.
best, Klaus

Hello,
Could you please tell me what is the status on this GPU issues with the lastest Autopano beta version ? It might help us a lot in improving gpu support.
Thanks,
Thomas
