Welcome to the forum...

Are you using a demo/trial version of Panotour Pro?

If you are then you cannot externalise the XML files.

So are you using a licensed and registered (within the software) version of Panotour Pro?

Re: Panotour cannot generated xml file

and if you're using a licensed and registered ptp verwsion, did you disable the "embed" options?
;-) sorry for checking this, but sometimes the most banal is the solution ;-) ... you write you tried to uncheck them... did you or did you not... and if you did, did you than rebuild the tour by deleting all existing/overwriting all existing tour data...

Re: Panotour cannot generated xml file

Hello,

In Trial mode the XMLs files are always embedded into the krpano flash player.
Once you register Panotour Pro with a valid license, you will be able to not embed them.

start panotour pro 1.8.0 (I asume  the 64bit Version Windows...)
Under Help you've 2 options:
HELP->About
HELP -> Licenses
give us one or both screenshots...(showing us if you're using the demo or a registered panotour pro version)
the demo version is limited. exported tours are always embedded ones... demo tours can be viewed only offline and the tour does show a watermark in demo mode.
take care you do not mix you autopano and you panotour licenses...

like in my screenshot...
open ptp and open your project or create one
ad 1. click on one pano on left screen
ad 2. choose project properties
ad 3. change to Tour build
ad 4. show that standard is enabled and mobile device Tour DISABLED
ad 5. choose a HTML template and enable/disable the embed options - in your case it should look like in my screenshot to disable the embedding...

6. save your project
7. finally use "Build tour as..." in combination with "delete all existing files before saving"

and finally make sure that your windows explorer is showing the .xml files
make yure you dont save your files and dont export your tour to the root directory of your harddisc. windows often treats this root dir as hidden and does not display all files...

Liebe Gruesse,
Georg
