The motorized panoramic head adapted to all situations.

This project, inspired by the community, is under construction since a few years now. It is concretized today with the creation of the first complete and professional solution which allows to achieve automatic shooting sessions of tens, hundreds, thousands pictures simply and easily, in order to create high resolution panoramic pictures up to several gigapixels.

Speed

Prerecord material profils and shooting templates for an ultra-fast shooting on the ground.

Precision accuracy

Benefit from the optimum precision, during the shooting session (from 0, 04 º to 0, 08 º) as during the stitching (for each shooting session, an XML file is registered in the memory. Imported in Autopano, it allows guaranteeing the stitching high quality, including in the usually problematic zones.

Stability

Adjust the stabilization time between each shoot at will for a perfect result, even in difficult conditions. Used for astronomy to support telescopes, the Panogear motorized head benefit from a monobloc conception guaranteeing stability and robustness.

Autonomy

Shoot during nearly 11 hours without recharging thanks to the two Li-Ion batteries provided in the pack, rechargeable using a universal charger, compatible with standard plug and car plug. (The head can also be powered with an external 12V power supply).

Adaptability

You can control the head from a computer by Bluetooth with about 30 meters reach, a Smartphone, or directly using a touch control panel plug to the head. You can realize partial or complete panoramas, repeat your sessions, settle the stabilization time, the overlap, pause at any time then go back, use your camera in portrait or landscape mode etc.

Easy to move

Only 2, 2 kg/ 4.8 lbs for 28x21x12 cm.

As an open source project, the Panogear pack is planned to make it easy to integrate new features, updates, and to make some specific developments if needed, in order to meet all the expectations.

How does it work?

Our pack includes a Bluetooth transmitter/ receiver allowing complete control over the shooting, up to a distance of 30m. Connect your Bluetooth transmitter to your motorized head, install the Papywizard control software on your computer or on any other compatible devices (Smartphone…), that's it! The pack also contains a Bluetooth dongle, in case your computer does not have an integrated Bluetooth interface.

The options

Touch control panel

Buy the touch control panel along with your Panogear pack to control the shooting from the touch screen of your control panel that is directly plugged into your motorized head. Light and mobile, it fits into your pocket. Save in advance as many material profiles as you wish (camera, lens, sensor size etc.) for an easier use on the ground. Choose a profile from your list, specify the shooting area, the controller calculates automatically the number of photos to be taken and the movements to be done for a result of an optimum precision. The option touch control panel is €250 (excluding taxes). Windows compatible only.

Stitching software: Autopano Pro, Autopano Giga

Buy Autopano along with your Panogear pack to stitch your images and thus benefit from a special price: Autopano Pro for only €75 instead of €99 (excluding taxes) or Autopano Giga for only €150 instead of €199 (excluding taxes). Autopano Giga contains all the functions of Autopano Pro + a tool for virtual tour creation. Autopano Pro and Autopano Giga integrate an import plugin dedicated to the Panogear for an optimum image stitching result.

Delivery

Delivery is made by our shipping partner TNT. You may check your delivery charges thanks to a module available in your shopping cart. The packs are delivered within 24h to 48h in the metropolitan France and within 24h to 72h overseas, according to the destination.
