British photographer Henry Stuart creates for Getty Images gigapixel photos of London 2012 Olympic Games. Here is his first gigapixel panorama of the games shot on July 29, 2012.
Henry Stuart, that we interviewed on the occasion of his gigapixel panorama of the royal wedding of William and Kate, used Autopano Giga image-stitching software to create this giga photo of the beach volleyball match.

|Henry Stuart took advantage of the London Eye maintenance week to create an awesome, 360Â° view of London using the time-lapse technique applied to panoramic photography. Henry shot a full panorama every 30 seconds, during 24 hours. All 3.000 panoramas were stitched using Kolor Autopano Giga software. You can interact with the video by moving at 360Â° and choose the “little planet” view.|

|Henry Stuart is the director of Spherical Images, a London-based company specializing in the creation of high-quality virtual tours. Very recently he released several amazing 360Â° tours, including St Paul’s Cathedral 15.5 gigapixel virtual tour. In April 2011 he was the photographer of the Royal Wedding gigapixel panorama, ordered by the BBC. The photo shows Prince William and Kate Middleton on the procession route, surrounded by a crowd of thousands of people. Henry Stuart used Kolor Autopano Giga image-stitching software to assemble the 189 images of this panorama.
