The author reviews several hardware items including Nodal Ninja panoramic heads and a selection of software applications, including Autopano Pro / Autopano Giga and Panotour Pro. Kolor releases today version 2.6 RC2 of Autopano Pro and Autopano Giga image-stitching software. We introduced a new slider in Autopano Giga in the exposure fusion parameters. You can now vary the multiband level, which can be useful to create an “HDR” effect. For other modifications, see the change log below.

We are quickly approaching the final release of Autopano 2.6: Kolor releases today version 2.6 RC1 of Autopano Pro and Autopano Giga image-stitching software. A new “Reload” icon lets you retouch your photos in third-party software like Photoshop (for example: masking undesired zones) and automatically use the new images in the panorama.
