The French magazine Image & Nature, magazine dedicated to the art and technique of nature, wildlife and landscape photography, in its January 2013 issue, underlines the launch of Autopano 3 (image stitching software) & its new features.
“Kolor has launched the third version of its famous image stitching and panoramic creation software: Autopano Pro and Autopano Giga. This new version provides ergonomic improvements and speeds up the workflow. Among the most noteworthy features are:
- A new panorama editor that enables a real-time manipulation of the images, and at full resolution,
- A great choice of projections, including Panini and Little Planet, all customizable depending on the image and the user’s choice,
- A preview of the final image before even launching the rendering,
- The Giga version contains a selective anti-ghost mode that let the user select what is to be kept or discarded in the overlapping areas.”
