Friday 25 January 2013
Clubic, a webzine of news on IT and multimedia has just elected the top 3 of all free picture viewers. XnView – distributed by Kolor – is the top ranked of all!
Kolor and XnView, a long-term partnership
XnView is developed by Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet. As a freelance software developer in a partnership with Kolor for many years he collaborates with us on some technologies used in all Kolor software.
Kolor software and XnView use the GFL technology together (Graphic Format Library). This allows decoding most of graphic formats. Kolor distributes XnView worldwide as an editor of the application. The great successes that meet XnView and Kolor software (Autopano and Panotour) rely mostly on the quality of the partnership between Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet and Alexandre Jenny (Kolor Founder).
