Autopano 3 – How to upgrade?
Tuesday 4 December 2012
Kolor is glad to announce the release of Autopano version 3. Discover what’s new and download the demo version.
All existing Autopano users can benefit from Kolor’s Update and Upgrade Policy and get either a free license for the new version, or a rebate on their upgrade, depending on the date of purchase.
Version 3 needs a new registration key. Please follow these steps if you want to upgrade your licence. Login to your Kolor account by using your e-mail address and password:
In the section “My upgrades”, you will find the upgrades available. After choosing your operating system, you can order version 3 of Autopano Pro or Autopano Giga. If you have Autopano Pro, you can upgrade to Autopano Giga by paying only the price difference between the two applications (+ the update price if applicable):
After pressing the button “order” you will be oriented to the Kolor Store in order to proceed to the checkout. The software application will be in your cart. You will just have to click on your cart and place the order.
Once the order is placed, you will receive the registration key of Autopano 3 by e-mail (you can also find it at any time on your Client Account). If you haven’t downloaded Autopano 3 yet, go to Kolor Download Center in order to download Autopano Pro or Giga. Install & register your software by using the license key you received (copy and paste the information from the e-mail you received to the software).
If you have trouble in updating your software, feel free to contact the team of Kolor.
Thank you for your trust & enjoy the use of Autopano

Hi Andrew, we only ask this information for statistic purposes. As stated in the FAQ, the license is compatible on Windows, Mac and Linux.

When did you change the policy so you need to specify the operating system when upgrading? I have always been able to run AutoPano on both Windows and Linux with the same license key.
