[Photo contest] Announcing Kolor Panobook 2012 winners

The team of Kolor is pleased to announce the winners of Panobook 2012 photo contest. The jury of this year, composed of Christian Bloch, Ignacio Ferrando Margelí and Uwe Steinmueller selected 150 panoramas among the 1647 photos we received. Here is the TOP 5 and the list of all selected contributors. What’s next ? Our publisher dPunkt Verlag will dedicate the coming weeks to the layout of the book and the printing. We expect the book to be ready in September.

    2012 was onderful as always! I do not see any sign of a 2013 call for entries – Will there be an edition this year?

    Greetings Guys,

    I have my Pano book and am sooo proud to have been published alongside such talented photographers with such stunning images.

    But – and it’s a small one. I think that the book would be greatly enhanced by an index/reference to find photographers and what page their images have been printed on. I know that the index is there, but that only lists alphabetically (by Second Name). If I’m trying to find a photographer by first name I have to read through all the names in the index.

    Would it be possible to list photographers as:

    Ireland
    Niall O’Reilly 100, 152

    France
    Frank Bailleul 101, 150

    and so on.

    With a page listing First names alphabetically too. I’m aware that the pages are for images and that this will take up more paper, please let me know what your thoughts on this are.

    I like #2 from Ed Cooley. There is probably some HDR in the process but not so strong and panorama looks like a painting. Bravo.
    I like more #3 from Michaël Lüthi, simple composition but color harmony, relaxing picture that I think before sleeping ;-)

    Congratulations to all winners :D , but why my Panos was Rejected :-S / I Probably uploaded some of my Panos that was Selected on Best Galleries on net like 1x , or was Editor`s picks in some others :) .
