Introducing GIROCAM: the new 3-fisheye, one-shot camera. Pre-orders now open!
Tuesday 15 November 2011
Today’s a big day: discover Girocam, the new one-shot camera that lets you shoot 360° images in a single click. Equipped with 3 fisheye lenses, Girocam takes 3 shots of 10 megapixels each to cover a field of 360°x150°. The completely automated stitching is done by included Kolor Girocam Studio software; it was developed by Kolor and is based on the same state of the art algorithms as those used in Autopano image-stitching software.
The photos obtained are of much higher quality than the preceeding “one-shot” solutions and they are suitable for most virtual tour projects. Combined with the use of Panotour Pro software to create interactions, Girocam will let you create striking virtual tours easily.
Discover Girocam now! Pre-orders are open. Kolor ships worldwide!
Girocam hardware is developed by our partner Giroptic ; the software part is developed by Kolor.

you plan to publish coloreyes software, so video-panos get possible. the point is to get according videos that can be puzzled & stitched….
… is it or will it be possible to take 10/15/30 images per second with the GIROCAM?
for this the 25-2Mpx of final pano image would be more than expected…

Hi,
The resolution is 10 megapixels PER FISHEYE LENS. Which gives 3×10 Mpx = 30 Mpx. The final result gives a lower number since the overlapping areas of the images are blended together.

Girocam is a simple solution for creating 360virtual tour in one shot and its features are good, but its resolution is 10 megapixels only, please increase its resolution to min of 25 megapixels.
Thanks & Regards,
