Neutralhazer is retiring

We are sad to announce that we are stopping all development for Neutralhazer, our atmospheric haze-removal plugin for Photoshop.

Why is it retiring?

Neutralhazer's retirement has been a long time coming, considering that Photoshop CC and Lightroom now embark a similar feature natively, without the need of an external plugin.
The arrival of a new operating system that simply does not support it (Mac OS El Capitan) was the decisive blow.
The Neutralhazer Light module integrated in Autopano Giga is not affected by the retirement of the Photoshop plugin.

What does this mean for the product itself?

The biggest change is the price, which is permanently reduced from €39 to €19.90. Other changes are:

  • There will be no future updates - the compatibility may vary for future operating systems and software updates
  • There will no further support for the plugin - as a reminder, you can find Neutralhazer's documentation here.

  • If it's retired, why continue to sell the plugin?

The plug-in still works on operating systems other than El Capitan, and can still be of great use to users who do not own Photoshop CC or Lightroom.
