Jury member, Bart Heirweg’s feelings
“During the voting process I came across a lot of excellent pictures, which immediately grabbed my attention. These are the pictures you remember after viewing over 1400 submissions. I focused on technique, light, composition and most of all, atmosphere. A strong image showcases an idea, a specific way of looking at things, and not just a particular scene along the road.” Bart Heirweg, professional landscape photographer.
Kolor Panobook 2014: the list of all selected contributors
The persons listed below have one or several of their photos selected by the Panobook 2014 jury. These photos will be published in the Kolor Panobook 2014!
|Firstname||Lastname||Number of photos selected|
|JORGE||DE LA TORRIENTE||2|
|MOHAMMAD REZA||DOMIRI GANJI||2|
Which one of my images was selected by the jury?
In order to let you know which one of your image(s) has been selected/have been selected for the Kolor Panobook 2014, all contributors will receive by email their images (it may be one or several) stamped “Kolor Panobook 2014 photography award″. Here is great example, thanks to this wonderfull panorama shot by Chris Collacott:
You will be able to share your award-winning panoramic photographs with your relatives and entourage.
What is next? Vote for your favorite panorama
We will select between 5 to 20 panoramic images which both content and ratio could fit in the Panobook 2014 cover. Thus you will be able to vote for your favorite one to give it a chance to be printed on the book cover! The vote will take place in a couple of weeks on Panobook.org.
What is next? Printing of the book
We will dedicate the coming weeks to the layout of the book and the printing. Hopefully, we expect to receive hardcover books in September.
There were 2 jury members instead of 3, why?
Unfortunately, the third jury member Bryan Peterson could not join the voting stage. The vote has therefore been done by Bart Herweig and David Keochkerian, plus a member of the Kolor Team, so that each image got 3 marks.
