For this eleventh case study, Adrien Chambard photographer uses the virtual tour and Panotour Pro 2.0 to enhance art exhibition suchas as le Salon International de l’Art Contemporain 2014 (France).

Could you introduce yourself?

I am a French photographer based in Montpellier. I studied 3D computer graphics at univeristy. Since 2012, I started to combine virtual tour with my knowledge in 3D computer graphics and I decided to launch my own business.

What were the expectations of your client? Did he like the final result?

Before making a virtual tour, I take some time to speak with my client. I try to clearly understand his expectations. Actually, regarding this virtual tour I had two customers. Firstly, the exhibition curator who wanted to receive visitors through the virtual tour all along the year, even when the exhibition is closed. Secondly, the artists who wanted to enhance their works and convince people to meet them on their booths.

The virtual tour contains Livepano, addon for Panotour Pro 2. To you, does this addon add value to the virtual tour?

I had to interview two famous artists. Livepano helped me to do so because it fits perfectly in the virtual tour. To me, this addon brings a real added value and surprises visitors.

As you can see, Livepano was an original and modern way to animate my virtual tour. Artists were delighted to showcast their work.

What kind of equipment did you use to make this virtual tour?

Camera and lens Accessories Software
  • Canon 600D
  • Sigma 8.0 F 3.5 Fisheye
  • Nodal Ninja R1
  • Manfrotto 294A3

Do you have other projects you would like to share with us?

I am currently working with tourists offices in France and I have made for this purpose the virtual tour of this cathedral. Many other projects are in progress!

If our readers want to congratulate or leave you a kind message, how can they do?

If you also want to present your work and appear on the Kolor blog for the “Case Study #12″, thank you to contact us by email or leave a comment. Kolor team
