  |   In the field   |   No comment

Kolor is pleased to publish online the eighth post blog entitled “Case Study”. Its purpose is various:

  • Enhance and highlight the work of a photographer
  • Present the results obtained with our software solutions and present business field where they can be applied
  • To put the photographer in touch with potentials customers

For this eighth case study, Han Dols photographer uses the virtual tour and Panotour Pro 2.0 to show a metal processing factory.

Could you introduce yourself?

My name is Han Dols, I am independent professional photographer and run my own small company in the south of the Netherlands, where I mostly work in the business to business field. I work for architects and interior designers but also for companies in manufacturing and medical equipment. I love the diversity!

Kolor team really liked the virtual tour of the factory. Could you give us more details about the virtual tour?

Beside my photography background, I also worked a part of my live in marketing and marketing communications. It helps me to understand what companies want to achieve with photography. In this case, the CEO wanted to show an overview of his metal processing factory in order to gain the confidence of new customers and investors. The virtual tour is very useful because people from all over the world can visit the factory directly from their chair.

In short, what do you think about Panotour Pro 2?

The fact that the Panotour Pro 2 virtual tour software allows such great integration of pictures and details is a big plus. To me it is a great tool, intuitive to use and allow you to create magic in combination with a creative spirit!

What kind of equipment did you use to make this virtual tour?

Camera and lens Accessories Software
  • Canon 5D mark III
  • Canon 5D mark II
  • Canon 8-15mm Fisheye
  • Canon 24-105mm
  • Seitz VR Drive II
  • Gitzo Systematic GT5562GTS tripod
  • Manfrotto M438 Ball Leveler

Do you have other projects you would like to share with us?

I am looking for a project regarding the local community, for example a church that will be broken down or an old monastery that needs restructuring. I think the virtual tour is a great way to capture some of the history and allows people to still virtually visit these places in the future. By including pictures, sounds and so on you can also capture well the ambiance and atmosphere.

If our readers want to congratulate or leave you a kind message, how can they do?

If you also want to present your work and appear on the Kolor blog for the “Case Study #9″, thank you to contact us by email or leave a comment. Philippe – Kolor team
