Sorry – have just trialled Autopano Giga 2.6 on my Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit system – it crashes consistently! It’s OK using the default directory when browsing, but, if I attempt to change the directory to another, it just hangs and Windows 7 shuts it down. I have 12GB of RAM and am running an i7 920 on an ASUS P6T motherboard.

Yes, i can also acknowledge this behavior at Win7 64Bit – it crashes (e.g. setting the borders for cutting before rendering). Also the software starts in ARABIC language if you install and then set the path and name for saving the projectfile and renderd image and restart the software. I have installed on 2 seperate PCs and the Problems are the same on both installations. (HP Elitebook 2540P i7 dual core and Elitebook 7840W i7 quad core, both are Win7/64).
Reinstalling back to V2.5 the Software is stable, (only) the arabic language problem is boring.
Because of each Version installs in it’s own program-directory, you have to deinstall the old version first. Then unfortunately all settings and license keys are gone.

Hi, this bug has now been resolved for future versions.
Please change the language in the settings panel and it will remain correct for future installations.

Just trying 64 bit Autopano Pro 2.6 and hoping to see some more improvements to already good software. No crashes yet and I’ve just checked 2.5 is still installed on my system.

    Bug report
The yellow horizontal marquee is missing from the Verticals tool. Very frustrating, and I can’t find anywhere to report this.

    Feature requests
I also have some suggestions for the next release to improve usability … but how can I submit these?
